Terms of Service

These terms govern access to the AutoModGPT website, dashboard, Discord bot, subscriptions, and related support services.

Summary

Guild owners remain responsible for how they configure moderation and permissions.
Paid access is controlled by backend billing state, not by a Discord role alone.
AI outputs assist moderation workflows but do not replace human review or legal advice.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be authorized to manage any guild you connect, configure, or purchase a plan for.
You are responsible for the security of your Discord account, dashboard session, and owner credentials.
You may not share access in a way that bypasses billing, permissions, or security controls.

2. Acceptable Use

Do not use the service for unlawful activity, credential abuse, spam, malware distribution, harassment, or evasion of platform restrictions.
Do not probe, scrape, overload, or attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, or billing controls.
Do not use AutoModGPT in a way that violates Discord platform rules or third-party provider terms.

3. Moderation and AI Features

AutoModGPT provides automation and decision support; it does not guarantee perfect detection, moderation accuracy, or uninterrupted service.
Guild owners are responsible for reviewing settings, thresholds, permissions, and any enforcement outcomes in their communities.
Features that depend on OpenAI, Discord, Stripe, or other providers can change or degrade if those providers are unavailable or restrict access.

4. Billing and Subscriptions

Subscriptions are bound to a guild context. Paid access is activated from backend billing state after payment confirmation.
Stripe Checkout, Stripe webhooks, and the Stripe Customer Portal are used to manage paid plans and recurring billing.
Cancellation takes effect according to the current billing state and Stripe lifecycle events; access may continue until the end of a paid period where applicable.

5. Suspension, Termination, and Availability

Access may be limited, suspended, or terminated to protect the service, comply with law, or address abuse, fraud, or security risk.
Features may change over time. Maintenance, upstream incidents, or provider outages can affect availability.
Reasonable efforts are made to keep the service available, but uptime and specific outcomes are not guaranteed.

6. Liability and Contact

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected subscription during the most recent three months.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
